Sound familiar? Someone asks for your website and you send them a Facebook link — or a site that hasn’t been touched since the day it was built.
I’m Manpreet, and I design and build fast, professional websites for New Zealand small businesses. Most clients start with a one-page Starter Website for $300: one well-planned page, up to 5 sections, that explains what you do, looks great on a phone and makes it easy to call or enquire. Need more pages, a redesign or extra features? I’ll quote it in writing before any work starts. Either way, you deal with me — the person actually designing your site — from first message to launch day.
Who it’s for
Most local customers will find you on a phone. I design for small screens first, so your page is easy to read and the call button is always within thumb reach.
What you do, where you work and how to reach you — up front, in plain English, the way your customers would ask.
I build lightweight static websites: quick to load, with fewer moving parts to update or go wrong.
Proper page titles, descriptions, headings and image descriptions, so search engines can understand what your business does.
Two ways to start
Most small businesses start with one page and add more later. Either way, the price is agreed before any work starts.

When you need more
Quoted upfront
Separate pages for each service or area, a refresh of an existing site, or features like online booking, menus and galleries. Same care and attention, scaled to what you need.
Scope
Bigger websites get the same care, scaled to the pages and features in your written quote.
A one-page Starter Website is $300, one-off, with no GST added: a $150 deposit to start, then the remaining $150. Domain and hosting are paid separately — I’ll explain the options and costs before you commit. Bigger websites, redesigns and extra features are quoted in writing before any work starts.
What affects the price
How it works
You’ll know what happens at every step — and nothing starts until you’ve agreed the price.
Fill in the short form. I’ll ask what you do, who your customers are and what you want the website to do — no jargon.
For a Starter Website the price is set: $300, with a $150 deposit to start. For anything bigger, I send a written quote first, so you know the cost before any work starts.
I build your site and send you a private preview link to check on your own phone. Starter Websites include 2 rounds of changes.
Once you’ve approved the finished site and paid the balance, I connect your domain, test your enquiry form on phones and computers, set up Google Search Console and put it live.
Mostly it depends on how quickly I get your logo, photos and wording, and how many changes you’d like. A one-page site is the quickest option. I’ll give you a realistic timeline before we start, rather than promise a date I can’t keep.
Yes. Once the agreed payments are made, you receive your website’s custom source code — subject to any third-party licences (for example fonts or stock images). I recommend registering your domain in your own business’s name too, so you always control it — even if you stop working with me.
Yes. I’ll look at what’s working, what isn’t and what can be reused — your domain, photos and wording — then quote a redesign. Sometimes a sharp one-page site does the job better than a tired five-page one.
You supply the basics — your services, areas and contact details — and I tidy up the wording as part of the Starter Website. If you’d like everything written from scratch, I can quote that separately.
It is when the scope is right. $300 buys one focused, well-built page — not a cut-down version of something bigger. Plenty of small businesses only need one great page. If yours needs more, I’ll tell you honestly.

Tell me about your business. I’ll reply personally with honest advice — and if a $300 one-page site isn’t right for you, I’ll say so.
